This proposal aimed to improve late season management of disease and insect pests in
vineyards. Michigan’s climate is highly conducive to cluster rots that can ruin an otherwise
excellent crop. Due to the late season of the disease, growers are turning toward organic
product to avoid residues, which can impact worker safety, pre-harvest
intervals, and export. In this proposal, we conducted small plot efficacy trials to
evaluate organic fungicides and the impact of these treatments on biological control insects. We
aimed to minimize cluster rots by improving grower’s understanding of insect-disease and disease management approaches.
