The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is committed to protecting and increasing the acreage that is used for farmland in the state, providing many resources to support the industry.

MDARD Grants – There are many grants available to support different components of Michigan’s agriculture sector including Rural Development Grants, Value Add Processing Grants, and Specialty Crop Block Grants.

Michigan Craft Beverage Council Research – Research provided by the Council is available for use to help inform and improve the state’s agricultural practices.

This is the official website of the Michigan Craft Beverage Council. The Council has the mission to provide for research into Michigan agricultural products, such as fruits, hops and barley that are used in the production of Michigan wine, cider, beer, spirits and mixed spirit drinks.
