Crafted with Michigan Flavor

Michigan has a rich and vibrant history with craft beverage production, with wineries, breweries, and distillery businesses booming before Prohibition, nearly 100 years ago. Access to plentiful crops used in beverage making and a one-of-a-kind entrepreneurial spirit put Michigan on the cutting edge of beverage production. That authentic spirit lives on today, and our crafters are constantly innovating in a growing industry.

The Michigan Craft Beverage Council supports business development by providing organizational resources, as well as assistance with licensing, taxation, and regulation. A strong connection to the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development connects you with valuable food & ag business development and export assistance.
